1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, submitting an application, logging in, uploading information, attending lessons or using any K-Maths service, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions and the K-Maths Privacy Policy.

If the learner is a minor, a parent or guardian should understand and accept these Terms where required. K-Maths may request parent/guardian contact details to support communication, consent and learner safety.

2. Who may use K-Maths

• Learners: school learners or upgrading learners who want tutoring and academic support.
• Parents/guardians: people responsible for supporting the learner and receiving important communication where needed.
• Tutors: approved tutors who support learners in specific subjects.
• Admin: approved K-Maths administrators who manage applications, marks, payments, lessons, reports and platform safety.

Learner and tutor accounts only unlock fully after approval by K-Maths admin.

3. Account creation and truthful information

When registering, users must provide accurate information such as full name, username, email address, phone number, parent/guardian contact, school, grade and subjects.

Incorrect or fake information may delay approval or cause an account to be rejected, suspended or removed. K-Maths uses this information to organise tutoring, communicate with learners and parents, manage attendance, track progress and support academic improvement.

4. Login details and password safety

Each user must keep their username and password private. Do not share your login details with friends, classmates or anyone who is not authorised to use your account.

K-Maths does not store raw passwords in the database. Passwords are handled securely using password hashing. Users should choose strong passwords and use the password manager built into their browser only if they trust the device.

If you think someone else has accessed your account, reset your password and contact K-Maths as soon as possible.

5. Role-based access

K-Maths uses different account roles to protect information:

• Learners can see their own marks, goals, quizzes, reports, payment proof history, announcements and lesson access.
• Tutors can only access learners and academic information connected to subjects they tutor.
• Admin can manage platform information needed to run K-Maths properly.

Users must not try to access pages, links or data that are not meant for their role.

6. Lessons, recordings and learning materials

K-Maths may provide in-person lessons, recorded lessons, quizzes, tests, notes, links, videos and other learning materials. These resources are for K-Maths learning purposes only.

Learners may use lesson materials to study and revise. Users may not copy, resell, repost, distribute or misuse K-Maths learning content without permission.

7. Quizzes, tests, marks and academic honesty

K-Maths may use online quizzes, tests and marks tracking to support learning. Learners must complete assessments honestly and must not use another learner’s account or submit work for someone else.

Marks on the platform are used for progress tracking and tutoring support. They may not always be official school marks unless specifically stated. Tutors and admin may use the marks to understand where a learner needs help.

8. Attendance and participation

K-Maths may record attendance for lessons, sessions or academic activities. Attendance records help tutors and admin support learners, identify consistency issues and communicate with parents/guardians where needed.

Learners are encouraged to attend regularly, arrive on time and participate respectfully.

9. Payments and proof of payment

K-Maths may collect and review payment proof for tutoring services. Payment information is used for administration, payment confirmation and learner access management.

Users must upload clear and truthful payment proof. False payment proof may result in account restriction or removal from K-Maths groups/classes.

Payment records are private and are not shown publicly.

10. Communication and announcements

K-Maths may send important communication by website announcements, email, WhatsApp or phone where appropriate. Communication may include lesson notices, academic reminders, payment updates, assessment notices or progress-related information.

Users should keep their email and phone numbers accurate so that important messages are received.

11. Respectful behaviour

All learners, tutors and parents/guardians must communicate respectfully. K-Maths does not allow bullying, harassment, discrimination, threats, abusive language, spam, cheating or misuse of the platform.

K-Maths may suspend or remove access if a user behaves in a way that harms learners, tutors, admin or the learning environment.

12. Privacy and personal information

K-Maths collects personal information only for tutoring, academic tracking, learner support, communication, reports, attendance, payment administration and platform management.

K-Maths aims to protect personal information and avoid exposing private learner information publicly. More details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Parent/guardian consent

Because many K-Maths learners are school learners, parent/guardian consent may be required. The parent/guardian contact number helps K-Maths communicate about tutoring, support, progress, attendance or important notices.

By submitting learner information, the learner and/or parent/guardian confirms that K-Maths may process the information for tutoring and academic support purposes.

14. Testimonials, photos and public content

K-Maths may show testimonials, achievements or progress stories only when they are approved and appropriate. Learner personal information, marks, payments and private academic records should not be displayed publicly without permission.

If photos are used, they should be appropriate, respectful and permission-based.

15. Availability and technical issues

K-Maths tries to keep the website working properly, but technical issues may happen. This includes internet problems, hosting issues, database issues, browser problems, email delays or maintenance.

If a technical issue affects learning, K-Maths will try to resolve it as soon as reasonably possible.

16. Account suspension or removal

K-Maths may suspend, restrict or remove an account if there is misuse, false information, disrespectful behaviour, payment issues, security concerns or violation of these Terms.

Admin decisions are made to protect the learning environment and the platform.

17. Updates to these Terms

K-Maths may update these Terms as the platform grows. When Terms are updated, the version number and date may change. Users may be asked to accept updated Terms again where needed.
